Dream Care Rides is seeking NEMT stretcher/gurney drivers in Olympia Fields, IL to serve patients across the south suburbs of Chicago. You will operate a company ambulette with two-person transfers and work with a trained attendant to ensure safety.

The role requires physical fitness, a clean driving record, and completion of a comprehensive background check; CPR/First Aid is required, EMT-B/BLS is a plus. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Illinois driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and physical fitness evaluation.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; EMT-B/BLS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload stretcher-bound patients with two-person lift.
• Operate ambulette and power stretcher equipment.
• Coordinate handoffs with hospital staff and discharge coordinators.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of stretcher, oxygen, and climate control systems.
• Maintain patient dignity and comfort during transport.
• Document trip details in driver app and notes.
