The role involves providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing vehicle parking and related duties in an outdoor healthcare environment.DutiesGreet guests warmly and assist with parking and retrieving vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.Safely operate standard passenger cars, manual transmissions, and other vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols.Provide outstanding guest services by ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.Handle cash transactions accurately when processing valet parking fees or related payments.Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving or retrieving vehicles, equipment, or supplies as needed.Maintain clear communication with team members and guests to coordinate vehicle movements smoothly.Ensure the outdoor work environment remains organized, safe, and welcoming at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a non-CDL vehicle to transport patients according to scheduled routes and appointments.Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper working condition.Assist patients, as needed, with entering and exiting the vehicle, including securing car seats or booster seats for appropriate age/size.Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, guardians, dispatch, and medical staff regarding schedules, delays, or any issues.Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and patient manifests.Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary safety items.Respond to unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and professionally, following established protocols.Protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3-5 years).Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.Experience working with children and adults in a professional or volunteer capacity is highly preferred.Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.Patience, empathy, and a compassionate demeanor.Ability to maintain a strict schedule and manage time effectively.Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while driving.Ability to safely lift and secure car seats, booster seats, and assist children (up to 50 pounds).Ability to safely lift and secure adult patients up to 300 pounds.Ability to assist patients with mobility issues, including entry and exit from the vehicle.Good vision and hearing (with or without corrective lenses) to operate a vehicle safely.Ability to perform routine vehicle checks and light maintenance tasks.
