Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul’s Neighborhood Brigade coordinates daily activities for Crew Members in shelter and transitional housing, recruiting, coaching, and scheduling projects while maintaining records and communicating with partners.

Reporting to the Workforce Support Manager, the Neighborhood Brigade Coordinator builds workplace skills, supports onboarding, and helps Crew Members connect with case managers to foster housing stability and employment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with onboarding and crew management is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Neighborhood Brigade activities and recruit Crew Members.
• Onboard Crew Members and manage background checks and drug screens as needed.
• Maintain electronic records of intakes, hours, and project outcomes within 24 hours.
• Organize neighborhood beautification projects and service opportunities.
• Transport Crew Members to appointments and worksites when required.
• Collaborate with community partners and SVdP departments to plan projects.
• Support training and life-skills activities for Crew Members.
