Job summary

Forbes Bros. Group of Companies seeks an Environmental Specialist to support the environmental program on a Nebraska transmission line project. You will provide field guidance, conduct inspections, and help address risks throughout construction, reclamation, and closeout.

Reporting to the Senior Environmental Manager, you will prepare records, coordinate with crews and clients, and ensure compliance with permits, SWPPP, and regulatory requirements. Outdoor work and 28/7 rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in environmental fields.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged; up to three years of field experience is an asset.
• Exposure to linear infrastructure or civil construction is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the project environmental management program.
• Conduct routine field inspections to assess compliance with plans and SWPPP.
• Provide environmental guidance to construction supervisors, crews, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, photos, reports and documentation.
