Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH seeks an NDT X-Ray Inspector to produce and interpret radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings, and to perform dimensional inspection and flaw detection. The role requires the ability to follow radiation safety procedures and to pass NAS-410 certification.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent and related experience, with the capability to stand, move and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.
• Must be able to perform essential duties and pass NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Able to accurately reads and follow X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images.
• Follows set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring.
• Performs system checks as required.
• Is able to pass certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to accurately reads and follow X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images
• Follows set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring
• Performs system checks as required
• Is able to pass certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures
• Required to follow procedures in the techniques for which certified
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust.
• Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
