Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking an NDT X-Ray Inspector to perform radiographic imaging and dimensional inspection of tube assemblies or castings. Qualifications

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a NDT X-Ray Inspector (SS) to join the team. This position is responsible for the production and interpretation of radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings, for dimensional inspection, flaw detection, or presence of foreign material. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to accurately reads and follow X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images
• Follows set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring
• Performs system checks as required
• Is able to pass certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures
• Required to follow procedures in the techniques for which certified
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust.
• Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
