Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies is seeking an NDT technician focused on certification in current and future approved methods within the NDT department. The role involves performing inspections per established procedures and maintaining certifications throughout employment.

You will certify to Level-2 in FPI and DR within 2 years, complete required tests, and recertify every 5 years. The job requires reading prints, operating inspection equipment, and collaborating with the team to ensure

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent completed.
• Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work instructions, procedures, and drawings.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word.
• Basic math and algebra skills.
• Eye test requirement.
• Must meet NAS-410/Q09-02-4001 for NDT certifications.
• Willing to travel up to 3 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Certify to Level-2 in Fluorescent Penetrant (FPI) and Digital Radiography (DR) within 2 years.
• 3 certification tests are required to achieve Level-2: FPI, DR Level-1 & Level-2.
• Level-2 recertifications must be completed every 5 years.
• Follow all procedures and governance related to NDT tasks.
• Operate equipment, run system checks, and perform routine maintenance.
• Read prints and process drawings related to AA TECH products.
• Develop techniques for future AA TECH products and improve inspection processes.
• Inspect hundreds of parts daily for welds, braze flaws, mis-assemblies, and defects.
