MISTRAS Group is seeking an NDT Assistant to support field and shop inspection operations in the York, PA area. This entry- level role is ideal for NDT students or recent graduates looking to grow within the nondestructive testing industry.

Qualifications

• NDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when needed.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environments (preferred).
• Current safety certifications are a plus.
• Experience supporting RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT inspections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT Technicians with inspections and testing activities.
• Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment.
• Prepare work areas, materials, and inspection tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
• Travel locally to job sites as needed within the area.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or lead technicians.
