Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an NDT Inspector/Technician to perform Ultrasonic and Eddy Current inspections on flight hardware. You will ensure part integrity and life span through rigorous testing, data interpretation, and documentation.

The role requires NAS-410 Level II certification, 800+ hours, and ability to work on production and lab environments. Responsibilities include maintaining inspection techniques, interfacing with engineers, and supporting a safe, repeatable spaceflight program.

Qualifications

• Qualify to Level II per NAS-410 in Ultrasonic and Eddy Current with 800+ hours documented experience
• Must meet NAS-410 training requirements in Ultrasound and Eddy Current methods
• Must pass Ultrasonic and Eddy Current tests within 3 weeks
• Must meet minimum vision requirements and color perception
• Familiar with ASTM E164, E2375, E426, SAE-ARP4402 standards
• Ability to calibrate inspection systems and interpret results
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
• Experience with MS Office applications
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed
• Experience in aerospace lab and production inspection environments
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain NDT techniques to inspect hardware per safety/spec requirements
• Perform Ultrasonic and Eddy Current inspections on flight hardware
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings or work orders
• Document and organize inspection results for traceability
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to report findings and ensure quality
