Job summary

Emerson is seeking an NDE Technician to perform ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on in‑process materials at our Marshalltown facility. The role focuses on ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, while supporting documentation and audits.

You will collaborate with operations, suppliers, and customers, and help maintain a safe, organized NDE area.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, certificate, or coursework in a related technical field (manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology) or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Basic understanding of inspection or quality control concepts is a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on in-process materials.
• Ensure products meet quality standards using industry-recognized testing methods.
• Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and customers to maintain high-quality outcomes.
• Support and maintain NDE documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
• Help keep the NDE facility organized, safe, and efficient.
• Participate in audits and contribute to process improvements.
