Job summary

AT&F in Cleveland seeks an experienced NDT Inspector to verify weld integrity on large submarine fabrication projects. The role focuses on Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections and drafting detailed compliance reports.

You will collaborate with PMs, production teams, customers, and third-party surveyors, set up test procedures, and ensure results meet contract requirements. Candidates must hold ASNT-TC-1A Level II in RT.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified and certified to ASNT-TC-1A in RT.
• Previous Level II Certification to ASNT-TC-1A with documented evidence of training.
• Experience inspecting metal fabrications, pressure vessels, piping, tanks, or gas systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality weld inspections using industry standards and contract requirements.
• Provide data and draft reports addressing NDT inspection criteria.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Production, Customers and Third Party Surveyors.
• Prepare Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Reports.
• Review and Certification of Final Documentation for Customers.
• Set up and perform NDT test procedures.
• Interpret specs relative to NDT testing and acceptance criteria.
• Organize, report results, and guide trainees as needed.
• Work independently and support team members.
