American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking an NDT Technician 1 in Saint Paul, MN. The role provides technical expertise across nondestructive testing in structural steel, manufacturing, and related sectors, applying AWS, ASME, ASTM, API, AISC, and UBC standards in field and laboratory settings.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and progression toward ASNT-TC-1A for UT/MT/PT/RT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; DOT compliance if required; physicals as needed.
• Working toward ASNT-TC-1A for UT, MT, PT, RT methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT examinations and interpret results.
• Maintain certifications and procedures for NDT.
• Coordinate field and laboratory testing activities; communicate with NDT manager for proposals.
