Job summary

Exo Group, LLC is seeking an NDT Technician to inspect materials, structures, and assets using non-destructive testing methods to ensure safety standards and reliability of utility pole networks. The role involves fieldwork, detailed reporting, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1+ year NDT or related experience, knowledge of poles and corrosion, and NDT Level 2 certifications (UT, MT, PT).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in NDT, utility maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of utility poles, materials, corrosion, cracks, safety standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed inspections of structures and utility poles per safety guidelines and company protocol.
• Evaluate structural integrity, identify corrosion, cracks and flaws; calibrate equipment and interpret results to codes.
• Ensure safety compliance and propose repair or replacement actions.
• Document inspection data, capture photos, and provide clear reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convey inspection outcomes and support action implementation.
• Suggest improvements to inspection procedures and tools.
