Job description

Volt is immediately hiring for NDT Technician in Decatur, IL

As NDT Technician you will:

• The NDT Technician provides inspections using a variety of nondestructive evaluation methods.
• The technician performs receiving, in-process, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Individual is responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases.
• The nondestructive evaluations methods include magnetic particle (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection, radiography, ultrasonic and other non-destructive inspection methods are occasionally required.
• On occasion, the technician may be expected to use various types of portable hardness testing equipment. The technician would be based in the production factory but could include some travel to support off-site testing as required to support manufacturing or clients in the field.

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Pay Rate:

$24- $27 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
