Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Full time Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians in Pascagoula, MS, with training in NFPA qualifications related to Hose, Aerial, Pump, Ladder testing for Fire/Emergency services market.

Applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and prior NDT classroom/field training, with Level II certification or Level I with adequate field hours to upgrade. Opportunities to join a safety-conscious team with structured training are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UT.
• Prior Level II certification with 1 year of experience or Level I with adequate field hours to certify to Level II.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I technicians as applicable.
• Familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents controlling the method.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information.
• Edit and present numerical data effectively.
