Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking full-time Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians willing to train in NFPA qualifications for Hose, Aerial, Pump, Ladder testing within the Fire/Emergency Services market.

Applicants must have a High School diploma, NDT training hours, and Level II certification with experience or Level I with adequate field hours. Position may involve travel to PA, MI, FL, OH, LA, MS for training, equipment sales and support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UT.
• Prior Level II certification with 1 year of experience or Level I with adequate field hours.
• Ability to lead trainees and coordinate work with Level I technicians.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and contractual documents controlling the method.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information.
• Edit and present numerical data effectively.
