Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Full time Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians willing to train in NFPA qualifications for Hose, Aerial, Pump, Ladder testing in the Fire/Emergency Services Market across PA, MI, FL, OH, LA, MS.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED/Degree and proof of NDT training. Advanced certification under SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT or Level I with field hours to Level II is required; expect hands-on setup, testing, interpretation, and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Degree required.
• Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT is required.
• Prior Level II certification with 1 year experience or Level I with field hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Familiar with codes, standards, and contractual documents controlling the method.
• Lead work of trainees and Level I personnel; ensure safety procedures.
