Job summary

Acuren is seeking an NDT RT Level II Technician with ASNT 9712 for on-site work in Broussard, LA. The role involves setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment and performing tests to identify discontinuities in accordance with industry standards.

You will interpret radiographs and other readouts, organize and report results, and may instruct junior staff. A strong technical background in NDT methods, plus ASNT certification, and willingness to travel offshore, are essential.

Qualifications

• ASNT 9712 certification required.
• Offshore travel required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT/CR desirable.
• Technical background in NDT methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination under inspection safety.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs and readouts (e.g., CRT, digital).
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others when required.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
