Job summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for an RT Level II Technician to join our NDT team in Louisiana. The role focuses on setting up and calibrating testing equipment, conducting inspections, and interpreting results to ensure quality and safety across various assets.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Level II certification, and a technical background in NDT methods. Acuren emphasizes safety, accuracy, and the supervision of others as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred for advanced inspection work.
• Certified Level II is required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures is expected.
• Ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment is needed.
• Experience in report writing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others when needed.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
