Job summary

HMT is seeking a Radiographer Assistant to support Radiographers in nondestructive testing operations, including setting up equipment, recording results, and assisting with inspections. The role requires teamwork, comfort with heights, and a strong commitment to safety.

Immediate enrollment in training is provided, and competitive benefits accompany full-time employment. Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass hair follicle drug screen.
• Must pass DISA background check.
• Possess Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or able to obtain.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Team-oriented and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Set up and use Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist with NDT procedures and portable equipment transport.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.
