Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will be certified to Level 2 qualifications per SNT-TC-1A in VT/MT/UT/PT and AWS CWI.
• Solid welding background required; must pass practical exams.
• Follow standard work and determine test equipment settings.
• Set up equipment and conduct tests per established procedures.
• Apply penetrants, developers, and couplants to parts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal parts to verify NDT specifications.
• Interpret and evaluate test results against standards; document findings.
• Prepare reports outlining findings and conclusions.
