Job summary

Encode, Inc in Lemoore, CA seeks an NDT Quality Test Specialist (CU) with aircraft structures NDT experience. You will ensure Field Operations QMS compliance, perform ECT and MAUS inspections, and support regulatory and process improvements within a military/aerospace setting.

The role requires 5+ years in NDT testing, NAS 410 certification, and the ability to travel up to 25%. You may need to obtain US security clearance; candidates must be eligible for a Secret level clearance to start.

Qualifications

• Certified NAS 410 ECT experience and NDT testing background.
• AS9100 quality system knowledge and compliance.
• Minimum 5 years in NDT/QC with aviation experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work variable shifts.
• U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assure Field Operations QMS compliance through cross-functional collaboration.
• Set up NDT tests: ECT and MAUS inspections with controlled equipment.
• Perform audits per NAMP 4790.2 aviation maintenance programs.
• Develop procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and process adherence.
• Conduct RCCA and CAPA investigations and follow-up.
• Support safety/quality investigations as directed.
• Manage Non-Conformance data and inputs into software tools.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Assist in metrics development for Field Operations QMS.
• Present metrics in required meetings and document procedures for test setup.
• Analyze routine test data to determine conformity and report trends.
