Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Orlando Manufacturing Center to perform nondestructive testing and inspections on materials and components. You will select appropriate NDT methods, verify dimensions against drawings, and document results for quality assurance and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior inspectors, providing technical input for corrective actions, and supporting ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of nondestructive testing methods.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Examine materials and products for defects such as cracks, porosity, incomplete welds, leaks, and internal flaws.
• Perform inspections using eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, FPI, visual, and thermographic techniques.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs to verify dimensions and compliance.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to Engineering.
• Train and mentor new inspectors following ASNT standards.
• Support ISO 9001 audit activities.
