Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Orlando Manufacturing Center. The role involves performing nondestructive testing using advanced inspection equipment and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

You will document results, provide technical recommendations, train new inspectors, and support ISO 9001 audits in a safety-conscious, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Examine materials and products for defects (cracks, porosity, welds, leaks, internal flaws).
• Perform inspections using eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, FPI, visual, and thermographic techniques.
• Read and interpret drawings/specs to verify dimensions and compliance.
• Document inspection results and report findings to Engineering.
