Job summary

ARCOSA Meyer Utility Structures in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a dedicated team responsible for producing the world’s best utility structures. You will perform visual and measured inspections of materials and products to ensure conformance with AWS D1.1 and related standards, and you will complete inspection records while reporting and following codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience using inspection tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Quality Control experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with up to 3 years of related work experience.
• CWI and UT a plus.
• Welding background.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1.
• Perform magnetic particle inspection using dry powder yoke method.
• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Ensure that all documentation is accurately and neatly completed.
• Comply with safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in the training process of Level I Inspectors.
• Have the ability to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time.

Meyer Utility Structuresis searching fora Quality Inspectorin our Lancaster, SC plant. As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that’s committed to making the best utility structures in the world. You’ll provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. The Inspector will also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

Schedule- Rotating Nights 7pm-7am with occasional overtime as needed.
