Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Inspector – NDT to ensure product quality across manufacturing processes in the United States. You will select, calibrate and operate NDT equipment, perform Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Nital Etch, visual and dimensional inspections, and document results in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in quality control
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environment
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods such as UT, MT, PT, and visual inspection
• Strong analytical and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with teams and stakeholders
• Understanding of business processes, industry standards, Baker Hughes technologies
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Select, calibrate, and operate non-destructive testing equipment for inspection
• Perform UT, MT, PT, and visual inspections
• Identify defects and ensure product quality meets standards
• Prepare and maintain reports of NDT results
• Document testing methods and results using ERP systems
• Review industry standards and ensure testing compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality and production
• Maintain accurate data records and support continuous quality improvement
