Job summary

Mitsubishi Power in Orlando is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform nondestructive testing and ensure products meet quality standards. You will select inspection methods and document results.

Responsibilities include examining materials for defects, using eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, and other techniques, reading drawings, reporting findings, and supporting ISO 9001 audits. An Associate's degree or 1–3 years' inspection experience is required; strong communication and safety focus

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1–3 years of inspection experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Examine materials and products for defects such as cracks, porosity, incomplete welds, leaks, and internal flaws.
• Perform inspections using eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, FPI, visual, and thermographic techniques.
• Read drawings and specs to verify dimensions and compliance.
• Document inspection results and report findings to Engineering.
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
• Train and mentor new inspectors per ASNT standards.
• Support ISO 9001 audit activities and safety/compliance efforts.
