Job summary

Orionplacement in the United States is seeking an NDE/NDT Engineer to perform field data acquisition and interpretation for civil infrastructure projects across bridges, buildings, dams, tunnels, and foundations.

You will combine hands-on fieldwork with technical writing and client coordination, travel nationally and occasionally internationally, with roughly 25% to 40% fieldwork, on-site in Wheat Ridge, CO or Rockville, MD, and contribute to project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geophysics, or related field.
• 1+ year NDE/NDT or engineering geophysics experience (2+ years preferred).
• Strong data collection, analysis, and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including international.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work at heights.
• Clean driving record; PE/EIT a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDE and engineering geophysics data acquisition in the field.
• Process, analyze, and interpret NDE/geophysical data.
• Support evaluations of bridges, buildings, dams, tunnels, and foundations.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Travel nationally and internationally for projects.
• Work independently and in teams from field data to reporting.
