Job summary

Advanced Infrastructure Design (AID), Inc. in central New Jersey seeks an Engineer to support NDT/NDE projects in field, office and lab environments under supervision of senior engineers and managers.

The role covers GPR data analysis, SUE support, pavement evaluation, reporting and cost proposals. Requires a BSCE and 2+ years in NDT or 3+ years in civil infrastructure, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in NDT fields or 3+ years in civil infrastructure evaluation.
• Familiarity with geophysical testing (GPR) and EMI is needed.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and GPR software (IDS-IQ Maps).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT/NDE tests in field and lab and analyze data.
• Support pavement evaluation, subsurface utility engineering (SUE).
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, invoices, and reports.
• Communicate findings clearly to project managers and clients.
