Job summary

Olson Engineering, Inc. in Wheat Ridge, CO and Rockville, MD is seeking Staff/Project Engineers with backgrounds in Structural, Geotechnical or Materials Engineering.

The role focuses on nondestructive evaluation investigations of bridges, buildings, dams and other civil structures, with cross-training in engineering geophysics. The position requires travel 25–40% with occasional longer stays, fieldwork in challenging conditions, and strong data analysis, reporting, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: BS in Structural, Geotechnical, or Materials Engineering; field travel; capable of fieldwork in difficult conditions; able to lift 70 lbs; EIT registration or PE a plus.

Responsibilities

• NDE and Geophysical data acquisition.
• NDE and Geophysical data processing and analysis.
• Preparation of draft reports.
• Preparation of draft proposals.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients.
