Job summary

Applus+ / XRI is seeking a Level 2 NDT Technician in Niles, IL, inside a Woodward facility. The role requires NAS-410 Level 2 certification, proficiency in Penetrant and Magnetic Particle testing, and the ability to calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and document results.

Candidate must be legally eligible to work in the United States with a High School Diploma or GED; visa sponsorship is not available. Medical/dental/vision and 401k are offered, along with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• Certified Level 2 in NAS 410 with ability to set up, calibrate, test and document results.
• Familiar with codes, standards, and contract documents controlling testing methods.
• Ability to guide trainees and Level 1 personnel on the job.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize equipment for PT/MT testing and document results.
• Interpret test results in accordance with NAS 410 and client procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of scope/limitations of the test method and apply accordingly.
