Job summary

Premier Precision Machining, LLC is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing technician to perform MT and PT inspections and support materials testing activities in a quality-focused lab. You will handle data capture, traceability, and instrument maintenance, contributing to ISO 9001 compliance.

Ideal candidates have an engineering or technical degree plus experience in NDT/QC environments. This on-site role offers a 2nd shift with a $2.00 differential and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or technical discipline is required.
• Background in materials testing and/or NDT is preferred.
• Experience in QC/QA environments is desirable.
• Engineering technician experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Run MT and PT inspections in lab and at field locations to verify material integrity.
• Support controlled destructive testing on metals under supervision.
• Operate, care for, and maintain specialized inspection equipment.
• Complete quality checks for incoming materials and record results.
• Capture and log raw data; create forms and analyze findings.
• Photograph incoming samples to maintain traceability.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on analytical instruments.
• Contribute to maintaining ISO 9001 standards and quality excellence.
• Study independently to prepare for certification exams.
• Handle related duties as assigned.
