Job summary

You will oversee NDT resources across multiple facilities, support subcontract vendors, maintain documentation, review records, and finalize documentation for storage, with familiarity in Tech Pub 248.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Visual Testing (VT) of welds, preferably with NAVSEA experience.
• Proficient use of weld inspection tools, including weld gauges, NDT equipment, and micrometers.
• Capable of interpreting technical data, blueprints, and specifications
• Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Visual Testing (VT) weld inspections.
• Perform welding inspections per NAVSEA and AWS standards.
• Oversee NDT resources across multiple facilities, providing support to sub-contract vendors, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Perform inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.
• Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.
• Familiar with Tech Pub 248
