Job summary

Apave America Inc. is currently offering an ample sign-on bonus for NDT Level II Technicians in and around the Wood River, IL area.

The positions are for full-time, nested/resident technicians to work a stable and consistent run & maintain schedule within one of our client sites. The NDT Level II Technician conducts inspections using RT, UTT/UT, MT, PT, analyzes results, documents findings, and adheres to ASNT guidelines and client specifications.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II certification required for the specified methods (RT/UTT/UT/MT/PT).
• Thorough understanding of NDT principles, equipment operation, and codes/standards.
• Prior NDT inspection experience in relevant industries.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment; conduct tests using assigned methods; identify defects per codes and standards.
• Interpret test data and document findings in inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with ASNT guidelines and client specifications.
• Perform quality checks and maintain calibration of equipment.
• Communicate inspection findings with engineers and quality personnel.
• Follow safety protocols in diverse environments including confined spaces.
