Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a hands-on NDT Level II Technician.

The role requires qualification in NAS-410 Level II across PT, MT, or UT methods and involves inspecting components, documenting results, and training Level I personnel on-site at our facility. You will work with Level III staff to develop and maintain an aerospace-focused NDT program, ensuring compliance with NADCAP and NAVSEA standards.

Qualifications

• NAS-410 Level II qualification or certification.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment setup, calibration, processing, interpretation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of NDT codes, specs, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to pass Jaeger J-1 visual acuity examination and color-perception requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and standardize NDT equipment.
• Process and inspect components per procedures and standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results for acceptance or rejection.
• Document inspection findings and maintain quality records.
• Train and supervise Level I personnel and trainees.
• Collaborate with Level III and other teams to maintain the NDT program.
