Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a hands-on NAS-410 NDT Level II Technician to conduct nondestructive inspections using PT, MT, or UT methods on aerospace and submarine components. You will document results, support program development, and supervise Level I personnel on-site.

Responsibilities include setup, calibration, procedure compliance, and collaboration with engineering, welding, and quality teams to maintain a compliant NDT program under NADCAP, NAVSEA, and ASNT requirements.

Qualifications

• Current NAS-410 Level II qualification in Fluorescent PT, Wet Fluorescent MT, or Contact UT.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment setup, calibration, processing, interpretation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant NDT codes, specifications, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to pass Jaeger J-1 visual acuity examination and color perception requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizenship is required for defense program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and standardize NDT equipment.
• Process and inspect components in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results for acceptance or rejection.
• Accurately document inspection findings and maintain required quality records.
• Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
• Understand the scope and limitations of the applicable NDT method and inspection technique.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel.
• Maintain familiarity with the codes, specifications, and standards governing the applicable NDT methods.
• Develop work instructions from approved general procedures.
• Submit work instructions for final approval by a Level III certified in the applicable method.
• Collaborate with the Responsible/Method Level III to establish and maintain the organization's NDT program.
• Support compliance with NADCAP, NAVSEA, ASNT, customer, and quality-system requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, welding, manufacturing, and quality teams.
