Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician for operations in South Roxana, IL. This role involves setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, performing inspections, and reporting results with strict adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting radiographs and digital readouts, conducting specialized inspections, and potentially guiding other technicians. A high school diploma is required with NDT certifications; some college is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Some college coursework considered an asset
• Certification in NDT methods is required or desirable

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
• Apply testing criteria per specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
