Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing of structures, pipelines, and components using x-ray, gamma radiography, ultrasonic, and other methods.

You will follow codes and procedures to ensure quality and safety on site. The role requires operating and calibrating NDT equipment, identifying defects, documenting results, driving company vehicles, and mentoring assistants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Certification in RT, UT, MT, PT; PAUT a plus.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds on varied terrain.
• Willingness to work long shifts and travel as needed.
• TWIC card preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing of components and materials per codes and procedures.
• Utilize methods including gamma and x-ray radiography, MT/PT, UT, and visual inspections.
• Select, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment for inspections.
• Identify defects using appropriate testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders following protocols and timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
