Job summary

Acuren is seeking an NDT Level II Technician to perform nondestructive testing on-site, calibrate equipment, and interpret results. You will follow standards, report findings, and may train others in NDT methods across multiple inspections in industrial settings.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely communication of test results, with opportunities to lead or supervise team members as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college education is preferred.
• Certified Level II certification is required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination per standards and safety rules.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
