Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Inspector to perform UT/MT/VT inspections across diverse projects in the New York area. This field role requires rigorous application of standards, precise documentation, and independent work in site environments.

The ideal candidate will possess Level II UT/MT certifications with extensive experience, the ability to manage testing in dynamic conditions, and a commitment to safety and quality on industrial, commercial, and transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Certified NDT Level II UT and MT required.
• Valid Level II UT, MT, PT, VT certificates required per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on NDT experience in industrial/construction settings.
• Proficient in ASME, ASTM, AWS, API standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform UT, MT, VT inspections as Level II.
• Optional PT testing when required.
• Prepare inspection reports with findings and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve inspection issues.
• Maintain inspection records and calibration documentation.
• Train Level I technicians as needed.
• Travel within NY metro area for field testing.
