Job summary

The successful candidate will perform PT inspections, calibrate NDT equipment, read blueprints, and collaborate with quality personnel to maintain compliance and safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Current NAS 410 NDT Level 2 certification in Penetrant (PT) inspection is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of NDT principles, procedures, and applicable inspection standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, purchase orders, and inspection instructions.
• Computer literate, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; D365 preferred.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and inspect parts for PT and other inspections.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment for Penetrant tests.
• Perform NDT per applicable standards and customer specifications.
• Interpret indications and determine acceptance against criteria.
• Review orders, blueprints, specs, and inspection instructions.
• Input inspection data and prepare Certificates of Conformance.
• Maintain NDT records and report findings and nonconformities.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in audits and provide quality-related input to supervisors.
