Nucor Memphis is seeking an NDT Lead to support several aspects of its NDT lines, including safety-driven efforts, process development, and test result reviews. The role requires Level 2 MT/UT certification and 3 years’ NDT experience in steel applications.

The position emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with production and sales teams to meet customer specifications and maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and holidays.
• Level 2 MT/UT Certified.
• 3 years experience with non-destructive testing in steel applications.

Responsibilities

• Support Nucor Memphis NDT lines across safety-driven efforts and process development.
• Review product and test results and calibrate equipment.
• Drive process improvements and provide production/sales support.
• Maintain safety policies and housekeeping standards at all times.

Skills

NDT Level 2 MT/UT

3+ years NDT in steel

Education

Two to four year technical degree or equivalent
