Job summary

VBeyond Corporation in Seattle is seeking an NDT Technician to perform and oversee nondestructive testing of aerospace components in accordance with NAS410/BSS7698 standards.

You will utilize ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant methods, with responsibility for equipment setup, inspection, evaluation, and documentation. NAS410 Level 2 certification is required.

Experience with NORTEC Eddy Current and EPOCH 650 Ultrasonic equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 Level 2 certification required.
• Experience with handheld NDT instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee NDT inspections per NAS 410.
• Set up equipment, inspect, evaluate, and document findings.
• Utilize ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant methods.

Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for performing and overseeing nondestructive testing (NDT) procedures in accordance with NAS410/BSS7698 standards. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and safety of aerospace components and systems. The technician will utilize various NDT methods, including but not limited to ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing, to detect defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• RT OR Radiographic


• MT OR Magnetic Particle

Note: All five NDT methods are not mandatory.

Responsibilities

The role involves NAS 410, NDT, with experience in methods such as Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant testing, along with equipment setup, inspection, evaluation, and documentation.

Qualifications

Education /Certification: meet the NAS 410 requirements for level 2 certification
