Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, OH is seeking an NDT Inspector on 1st shift (Level II MT and PT) with hours from 6:30am to 3:00pm. The role pays an hourly rate of $35.81 and involves highly diversified inspection activities and blueprint-based verification on aerospace components.

Candidate must hold NAS 410 Level II certification for MPI and FP, and have experience with CMM, GD&T, and various inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Must be certified to Level II Nondestructive Tester per NAS 410 for Magnetic Particle Inspection and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Prior calibration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified inspection activities per inspection plans, blueprints, or manufacturing outlines.
• Lay out castings for verification of cleanup at subsequent machining operations.
• Create inspection plans aligned with processes and drawings.
• Review product test data for compliance to specs and validate with acceptance stamp.
• Document non-conformances and maintain records.
