Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Glendale, AZ is seeking an NDT Logger to support the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division. The role requires reading blueprints, NDT experience, and accuracy in records. You will interpret specifications, perform audits, and maintain documentation—essential for compliance and quality.

The position operates on a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am). Strong teamwork and communication are required, along with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and use hand tools as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in Aerospace manufacturing, Inspection / Quality paperwork, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
• Previous experience working in an NDT department or within an NDT function is preferred
• Possess working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
• Personal hand tools may be required.
• May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications.
• Identify defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history.
• Interpret specifications, charts and manuals. Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures.
