Job summary

Phoenix National Labs, part of Applied Technical Services, is hiring motivated individuals to become Special Inspectors supporting Arizona's significant construction and manufacturing projects in Tempe. No inspection experience is required; we will train the right candidates.

If you have formal NDT training, we’d also like to speak with you. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, comfortable working indoors and outdoors, and able to travel across Arizona.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; math and print reading skills.
• Ability to use computers for data entry and report writing.
• NDT classroom training or OJT preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks to prepare components or equipment for inspections.
• Work alongside certified technicians to help complete projects and learn activities.
• Interface with personnel to determine scope of work and work priorities.
• Help clean and organize equipment before, during, and at the completion of projects.
• Document on job training experience as assigned by management.
