Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented NDT Inspector for a full‑time, on‑site role in Lafayette/Broussard, LA. You will inspect equipment and components, document results, and help ensure safety and compliance across our lifting products.

Ideal candidates have NDE/NDT experience, a clean driving record, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Pre‑employment drug test, background check, and MVR review apply.

Qualifications

• NDE/NDT experience required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of personnel.
• Highly reliable and well organized, able to work with little supervision.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect various equipment, skids and other products.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs.
• Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; troubleshooting; resolving problems.
• Builds and maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting methods and techniques for improvement.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

The NDT Inspector will provide inspection support for various products in order to ensure safety and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in Inspection required (NDE/NDT experience required)
• Clean driving record required as well as a valid driver's license
