Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a NDT II technician for our San Marcos, TX site. The role is onsite with a 2nd shift. You will perform nondestructive testing, calibrate equipment, interpret results, and document findings to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.

Required are a high school diploma, an NDT Level II certification, and 2 years’ experience reading drawings and procedures. U.S. Person status is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current certification as an NDT Level II Technician in at least one applicable method.
• 2 years’ experience to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Responsabilités

• Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct Level II examinations using NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), X-ray.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate and interpret test indications according to acceptance criteria.
• Document inspection results including test parameters, equipment ID, calibration, and findings.
