Job summary

JANX, a trusted leader in non-destructive testing, seeks a Level I Technician to support Level II operations in Raleigh, NC. The role involves basic NDT tasks, equipment handling, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will learn inspection methods under supervision, assist with data collection, and ensure a clean, compliant work environment while contributing to service reliability for critical assets nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months of experience in NDT or a trade school degree in NDT required.
• State Radiographer Card required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II Technician in work execution and daily tasks.
• Prepare, set-up, and complete paperwork as required by client and company.
• Set-up boundaries and surveil work area to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Replenish and organize required supplies to perform methods.
• Perform basic NDT inspections under direct guidance of Level II Technician.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles.
• Observe procedures to learn NDT methods and certification requirements.
• Follow safe work practices and company policies at all times.
