Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a full-time NDT Eddy Current (ET) II Technician based in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform ET inspections on metal tubing across heat exchangers and related equipment, ensuring defects are detected to prevent failures.

Responsibilities include setting up ET equipment, documenting results, and guiding trainees, with emphasis on safety and quality. Previous Level II NDT certification or Level I with field hours is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an NDT technical program aligned with SNT-TC1A standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate Eddy Current Testing (ET) equipment.
• Perform non-destructive inspections on metal tubing per standards and client specs.
• Analyze, document, and present test results clearly with numerical data.
